Job Summary


We're searching for a talented, experienced and energetic graphic designer to serve as our Layout Specialist. The position will primarily manage the overhaul and ongoing layout and production of our seasonal wholesale print catalogs. Additional responsibilities include the creation of multiple print and electronic marketing collateral and merchandising tools. This position will work collaboratively with our web designers, product design, merchandising, sales and retail teams. All projects will be led from concept through completion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Primary responsibility is to lead the creation of the seasonal wholesale print catalog. The initial task will be to build a new catalog template including improving the current process and making a more user-friendly format. Once the new template is established, serve as primary designer for all subsequent wholesale catalogs to include layout and design presentation, photo retouching, and manipulating and finalizing all product photos and renderings. Must work collaboratively with the marketing, design, merchandising and sales teams to integrate all perspectives.
•Work collaboratively with the web design team to create efficiencies in translating the wholesale print catalog to our online customers on our B2B and B2C sites.
•Design and produce the seasonal Look Book in collaboration with the merchandising and retail teams.
•Complete multiple types of marketing related print and electronic materials including the creation of retail POP/collateral, banners, ads and partner marketing support materials.
•Maintain and update a digital asset library for use by internal and external customers.
•Manage all projects from concept through completion. Work with print and all other vendors to explain deliverables, secure quotes and ensure all specs are delivered within budget and agreed upon timeframe.

Experience and qualifications
•Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design/Visual Communications
•5+ years experience in designing and producing catalogs and marketing collateral
•Demonstrated advanced proficiency of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
•Proven understanding of printing processes and technologies
•Experience managing print vendors including job sourcing and pricing
•Excellent design, color, and layout skills
•Experience managing multiple projects with tight deadlines
•Must be flexible, highly organized, and have a "can do" team attitude
•Have an optimistic outlook and approach to business
