Graphic Designer

The Arbor Collective is looking for an energetic graphic designer to produce unique brand specific designs related to all three of our product categories: snowboards, skateboards, and apparel. Applicant must be willing to learn and contribute within a fast paced, collaborative environment. Applicant will be expected to follow direction from Art Director and Product Line Managers as well as conceptualize their own ideas and be able execute them in a timely fashion. The applicant must be an avid snowboarder and/or skater and possess a solid understanding of both the associated cultures and design aesthetic.

Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design

• A Minimum of 3 to 5 years work experience as a designer focused on graphics for snowboards, skateboards, apparel, sales & marketing material and advertising for print/ web applications.  

• Knowledge of The Arbor Collective brand and it’s philosophy. 

• Expert in Adobe CS 5 

• Posses a thorough knowledge of design history, typography, color theory

• Strong knowledge of contemporary art & current and emerging design trends

• Excellent verbal communication skills and able to work well with co-workers and management

• Must have an in-depth understanding of the design process and be able to communicate project status, and execute at a high level under evolving market conditions

• Must possess strong organizational/time management skills and able to execute on a project from start to finish

• Must be dependable, committed and resourceful

• A working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut, HTML, CSS a plus

START DATE: May 1st

This is a full-time position with a competitive benefits package.  Salary based on experience.
