Design Intern(s)
We are currently looking for an intern or two to work at Outside
Bozeman Magazine. Ideally we're looking for a design student
that's finishing up their Junior year and is heading into their Senior
year, and could start working with us this summer. We'll be able to
offer them credit for the appropriate semesters that they are working
with us. We are looking for someone who can devote 2-3 days each
week, and at minimum 10 hours a week to come in and help with design
tasks.
Interns will be helping out with general production work, sales
flyers, ads, promotions, illustrations, and providing assistance to
the Art Director and Production Assistant on a variety of tasks. The
design candidate must be proficient with Indesign and Photoshop, have
good attention to detail and be able to take direction from others.
Also we need someone who won't be easily offended as there is a lot of
humor in our work place, they must have a good "can do" attitude, be
willing to try and learn new things and have a love for the outdoors.
We don't offer any pay, but do have plenty of perks; the chance to
apply design skills to real world tasks, gear reviews (usually you get
to keep the gear), gift certificates and company paid excursions.
If anyone is interested please have them email me a low-res pdf of
their resume/portfolio.
Thanks,
Angie Mangels
