Summer Internship
Trail Guides is seeking a photography intern for a unique opportunity in Yellowstone National Park. The company is an online resources for hiking and backing in Yellowstone and the internship will involve photographing individual hikes as well as the products and gear used while traveling in the backcountry. Additional responsibilities will include organizing and prepping the images for use on the website and you would be working directly with the owner while in the backcountry.
This project will involve long day hikes and/or multi-day backpacking trips to a variety of locations throughout the park. Individuals must have their own camera equipment and should be comfortable photographing people in landscapes. You should be in excellent physical condition and capable of carrying the necessary camera equipment and other essential items to make the hike a safe one. Camping gear, including items like tents, stoves, backpacks and a few basic necessities can be provided if access to this equipment is limited. Gas, food and campground fees will be provided for all trips to the park.
Most trips will take place on weekends but weekday trips are also a possibility. The schedule is flexible and interns will be required to travel to the park at minimum of two weekends out of each month.
