Summer Internships at Consumer Reports

Consumer Reports is an American magazine published monthly since 1936. It publishes reviews and comparisons of consumer products and services based on reporting from its in-house testing laboratory and survey research center.

Our summer intern program is intended to provide undergraduate and graduate students with a rich experience in an area related to their course of study. The internships are full time and last 12 weeks from late May through mid August. Interns will be paid $15 per hour based on a 35-hour work week. In addition, interns will be invited to participate in activities including lunch with senior leaders of Consumer Reports, interactive activities with expert staff, and tours of our world renowned product testing labs including our auto test track.

Internships are open to full time undergraduate and graduate students (or students graduating in May 2013 or who graduated in December 2012). Interns will receive a competitive hourly wage ($15) and the program will run for 12 weeks over the summer starting in late May. Applicants should include a resume and cover letter describing how the internship will benefit them and the contribution they could make to supporting our mission.
