Communications Production Specialist
• Preferred Experience: Knowledge and experience in professional design, marketing, or advertising role, and experience in social media and online communications. Advanced software knowledge also preferred in Adobe CS6, Final Cut Pro, Dreamweaver and CSS/HTML.
• Education Required: Baccalaureate degree in a related field or a minimum 5 years of experience
• Overtime Status: Exempt from overtime
• Preferred Start Date: August 19 or September 3, 2013
• Salary starting at: $30,000 annually plus benefits
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The Communications Production Specialist (“Specialist”) of the Montana State University Alumni Foundation (“corporation”) utilizes a variety of software to create, design, and produce web graphics, emails, print materials, and more. The Specialist also co-manages the corporation’s social media presence and develops key messaging in support of the corporation’s strategic and overarching communication needs. The Specialist manages his or her time in accordance with aggressive development deadlines, recommends current best practices, and meets or exceeds quality standards that adhere to established style guidelines. The Specialist has collaborative relationships with the Development and Alumni Relations teams and reports to the Communications Manager.
