Description
The ASMSU Arts and Exhibits Director is responsible for showcasing visual art exhibits in the areas of graphic design, sculpture, painting, photography, printmaking, ceramics, drawing and any other media by locally, regionally, and nationally known artists. The Director hires and supervises student gallery sitters and works with other program Directors to plan events. The Arts and Exhibits program also sponsors lectures, exhibits, and performances by visiting artists. The Director is responsible for managing a budget and presenting it to the ASMSU Finance Board as well as to the ASMSU Senate. The Director will also be required to attend monthly ASMSU Roundtable meetings to ensure communication and collaboration with ASMSU as a whole entity.
Hours per Week: 15
Pay: $687/month
Length of Employment: 8 months
