Graphic Designer/Interactive Designer
ABCNews.com is looking for an Interactive Designer to design and develop Flash interactives and Web components for our award-winning national news website. 

This position will:
 • Conceive, design and develop Flash interactives and Web graphics in support of ABC News brands such as Good Morning America, World News, Nightline, 20/20, This Week and others. 

• Create interactive elements such as games, infographics, maps, polls and other illustrations 

• Support the Sales and Marketing team in designing graphical elements, newsletters, and presentations in support of  both On-Air and online properties Candidates should have: 

• At least 3 years experience in building Flash interactives for a major website, interactive agency, or design firm 

• Formal training and education (Bachelor's or above) in interaction design or graphic design (or the equivalent) with additional experience in typography and information architecture 

• Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash 

• A strong sense of what must be visual appealing for all digital media, not just the Web 

• Possess working knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, including an understanding of their limitations, as well as experience in cross-browser compatibility and Web standards
