Web/UI Designer
Lunchbox is looking for a versatile Web/UI Designer with a passion for clean typography and layout to play a major role in new business, web design and development. Work will range from initial wireframes, UI site layout and branding. The Web/UI Designer will be involved in all stages of the design process and should be able to conceptualize as well develop and produce a solid design for a site. Any additional Audio/Video/Motion/3D skills are a bonus but you will be judged by your Web/UI design and software skills first and foremost.
Candidate should be comfortable working through all stages of the design process from concept to development/refinement and production. In addition, a familiarity with presentations is important.
You should be an expert with Illustrator, Photoshop, flash and have a strong working knowledge of design techniques online. Personality is key; we're an energetic LA-based agency who pride ourselves on a strong work ethic and a required sense of humor. Requirements:
Online portfolio of your wireframes, UI and final page layouts or a PDF
Sharp eyes and sharp mind
Four-year degree in Graphic Design (or related field)
Detail-oriented, multi-tasker able to perform in an often fast-paced environment
Fluency in major creative software suites in a Mac-environment, i.e Adobe CS3, etc. Flash and motion skills a plus, but not required
You must live in (or move to) the Los Angeles area and have the ability to work on-site as well as possibly remotely.
