Clarkson is seeking a talented and highly motivated University Photographer with superior technical skills and a passion for photography to capture the vibrant people, places, special events and activities that define our campus community and values.
As the University Photographer you’ll schedule and coordinate stylized and candid photography on campus, for special events, and for in-studio and on-location photo shoots; brainstorm ideas as part of a high-energy creative team; work directly with the University community; edit and enhance digital images as needed to achieve the best results; maintain a web-based database to archive images; and be responsible for operating an on-campus studio and maintaining photographic equipment.
The successful candidate will possess creative vision, enjoy working with people, be self-directed, have strong technical knowledge of digital equipment, composition and lighting techniques, and have a demonstrated ability to juggle assignments and work within deadlines.
The position requires flexible scheduling, including some evening and weekend hours. A bachelor’s degree in photography or related field and professional photography experience required.
