Visual Designer

As a member of the HR Communications team, the Web Visual Designer creates assets for Apple’s Human Resources employee and candidate websites under the direction of the Senior Manager. Requiring a clear understanding of graphic design for the web, you will be involved in the development, design (“Look & Feel”) and production of a wide range of visual design projects.   

Proven Skills and Abilities • Demonstrated proficiency in design and production of graphics optimized for web delivery.
• Ability to develop innovative designs, which are on-strategy and meet objectives.
• Strong design skills with some ability to evaluate own work as it relates to Apple’s needs.
• Demonstrated reliable judgment as to when work may be “off track” and when to ask senior staff for advice.
• Ability to accept feedback and redirect own work with limited supervision.
• Ability to articulate ideas in a manner that is clearly understood by senior management staff.
• Excellent skills with design software used by the department, including, but not limited to, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Good organization skills to file work in a manner that is accessed and modified by others.

Education
BA or BFA in Graphic Design or other related design discipline, typically with a minimum of 2 to 4 years work experience.
