Art Director, Catalog

Lead execution of catalog art direction and design to create brand inspired catalog pages that appeal the Eddie Bauer customer.
Core Accountabilities
• Create and maintain grids / standards for catalog pages
• Create concepts and page formats in collaboration with Creative
• Merchandising teams • Layout catalog pages and pacing appropriate to the season and product
• Partner with Photo team to develop styling for each section of the catalog; the look and feel •Partner with Design and Merchant teams to determine creative execution based on business needs • Act as liaison between Merchandising and Photo team to develop photo plan document
• Partner with Photo Art Director to determine shot assignments for both still and figure photography
• Build effective internal partnerships and actively promote cross-functional collaboration to insure business goals are achieved
Minimum Requirements
• Demonstrated understanding of typography
• Proficiency in Photo Shop, Excel, In Design
• Proven ability to succeed in a large, fast paced, creative organization
Education/Experience Required
• College degree
• 3-5 years experience in art direction
• Magazine and/or catalog art direction preferred
• Retail experience preferred
